The Opportunity – We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Lawyer to join our Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, which consists of a dynamic and talented team of lawyers.
Our experienced team offers our clients experience, expertise and commercial advice in dealing with the full spectrum of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution matters, including in relation to:
- Shareholder and oppression disputes;
- Insolvency and debt recovery;
- Australian Consumer Law, including misleading and deceptive conduct;
- Tortious claims;
- Corporate governance;
- Contract
- Banking, finance and securities;
- Construction, real property and development; and
- Trusts
This role will provide you with the opportunity to be actively involved in the full range of Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution matters as well as receive on-going training and development of your practice.
What you’ll bring
To be a successful candidate you will have experience as a Senior Lawyer (at least 6+ years PQE) in general commercial litigation within a respected mid-tier firm or in-house.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Demonstrated experience in commercial litigation.
- An ability to effectively manage larger matters and lead a team.
- A desire and ability to grow, both as a lawyer and leader.
- A willingness to build an understanding of clients and develop effective working relationships.
- An ability to establish a professional profile and internal networks.
- A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
