The Federal Court is paperless as of today

Articles, Procedure + Litigation

As of today the Federal Court of Australia will no longer accept paper documents from lawyers appearing before the court.  This is a welcome advance for the court in advancing information technology and environmental sustainability.

Lawyers who arrive at court with paper documents, including draft consent orders, will suffer the indignity of being sent to a nearby kiosk to eFile their papers.
